Dear colleagues:
On behalf of the Colombian Mössbauer Community, it is our great pleasure to
invite you to attend the 37th International Conference on the Applications
of the Mössbauer Effect, ICAME 2023, which will be held in Cartagena de
Indias, Colombia, from September 3 to 8 in 2023. The conference is organized
by the Colombian Mössbauer Community, which is composed by researchers
from different universities in Colombia, and we have the advice of the Latin
American and the International Mössbauer Communities.
Dear Colleagues,
Following the Symposium organized in honor of Jean-Marc Greneche last year in
the Fall Meeting of the American Chemical Society, a Focus Issue is launched
by the prestigeous Journal Of Material Research covering a wide range of
research applying Mössbauer Spectroscopy.
I encourage you to send manuscripts according to the Call attached.
Submission deadline is 1st of August 2022.
With best regards: Zoltan Homonnay

On 16 February 2022, a new edition of http://www.hyperfinecourse.org will
start. It is a free open online course about the physics of hyperfine
interactions and experimental methods based thereupon. You can take this
course self-paced at any time of the year, or - if you start on Feb 16 or
before - you can take it in sync with students at Ghent University and KU
Leuven. In the latter case, you can ask questions and get feedback just as
these students do.
Dear All,
Thank you for completing the survey for Universal Mössbauer Spectrometer. If
you haven’t already finish it, you can do it until the Tuesday 9th of
November on website https://mossbauer.vtpup.cz/ums-survey.
Previous email:
let me send you another email about our MS development at Palacký University
after a while. Currently we are working on development of Universal Mössbauer
spectrometer (UMS) as a measurement platform compatible with most
commercially available MS components. UMS will allow you perform Mössbauer
measurement at several unique regimes, such as parallel regime, process
triggered measurement, dual regime, measurement of excited state lifetime or
time differential Mössbauer spectroscopy. You can find complete necessary
information on our website https://mossbauer.vtpup.cz/products/ums.
