Dear Sir/Madam,
We are developing new components for Mössbauer spectroscopy such as detectors
or reaction chamber at Palacký University in Olomouc. Currently, we are in a
situation, when we are able to focus the development according to the
requirements of scientists. Therefore, we would like to ask you for your
involvement.
Dear colleagues,
let me kindly inform you that ISIAME symposium, which was originally
scheduled to September 2020, is postponed to 2022. Let me remind you that we
keep a possibility to submit a manuscript to Hyperfine Interactions journal.
In case of sufficient number of contributions related to industrial
applications of Mössbauer spectroscopy, the conference proceedings will be
issued. You can find detailed information at http://isiame2020.upol.cz/
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Libor Machala
Dear colleagues,
let me inform you that ISIAME2020 in the regular date (6th-11th September
2020) is cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemie. A new date is under
negotiation and will be stated till the end of July 2020. A possibility to
submit a manuscript to Hyperfine Interactions is kept.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Libor Machala

Dear Edson, all Mossbauer colleagues,
We’ll be looking forward to emerging as a stronger community when this
situation wears out.
I also want to point out that the North American Mössbauer Symposium, which
was to be held in 15-16 May 2020 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee has not been
cancelled as of now. We have postponed to event to 16-17 October 2020.
Probably we will be able to assess the feasibility of the meeting only around
mid-August and will update at that time.
Dear Colleagues,
it seems that in these exceptional days MIX proves to be a really important tool of keeping the international Mössbauer community together. For using it properly, please observe a few very simple rules.
1. When posting on MIX, never include other addressees in the Cc. Simply send a mail to and only to mix AT lists.kfki.hu and, as a rule, it will be distributed immediately and automatically. The same holds when you reply someone’s previous post: don’t include further addressees in the Cc.
Dear Edson:
It’s unfortunate that we will miss LACAME 20. I enjoyed LACAME 19 in Santiago
de Chile last year very much.
We also had to cancel the North American Mössbauer Symposium, which was to be
held in 15-16 May 2020 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
It looks like this will be the case for most major meetings in 2020. We
should all be hopeful that we will be able to enjoy each other’s company and
friendship in the coming years. I look forward to see you in ICAME and LACAME
in the near future.
Dear Colleagues from Mössbauer Community,
First, we hope that you all, including your families, are healthy and safe
(the social distance process is probably something that most of us never
thought before that could occur!).
Since March of 2020, the LACAME´20 (Latin American Conference on the
Applications of the Mössbauer Effect) organizers have been closely monitoring
the worldwide situation about COVID-19 in order to take the best choices and
decisions on the Conference planning, of course, always taking in mind that
the well-being of all Conference participants is our top priority.
Dear colleagues,
let me kindly inform you that regular registration (without LATE option) for
ISIAME2020 has been prolongated till 31th August 2020 and abstracts
submission till 31st July 2020 (both oral and poster presentations).
Moreover, fees for exhibitors and sponsors of the symposium have been
established. Please find details at the website
http://isiame2020.upol.cz/registration.html
Nevertheless, it can happen that the dates of ISIAME can be changed
accordingly to the situation with the COVID-19 pandemie.
